£35,000 - £50,000 + Full Autonomy + Extensive Ongoing Training + Great Benefits Package + 33 Days Holiday + Technical Expertise

The company is one of the leading aggregates/ plant specialists in the UK and supply to a variety of industries and clients nationwide. They are continuously looking to expand and grow and are looking for an additional Quarry Manager to play a pivotal role within these plans, who they can bring in as a technical quarry operations expert and progress internally within the business

In this role you will use your extensive technical quarrying knowledge and management experience to shape the strategic direction of the operations across the site, deliver daily operational targets, strongly focus on continuous improvement across all aspects of the site, oversee all plant, civil and general maintenance being completed on site, ensure that Health and Safety standards requirements & inspection targets are met and manage and develop direct reports to enable the teams to identify and resolve issues.

The Role:
*Quarry Manager
*Day-to-day management of operational activities and staff
*Ensure compliance with company and statutory health & safety policies and regulations
*Help to shape the strategic direction of the operations
*Salary increases with new qualifications gained
*Run efficient and cost-effective operational processes

The Person:
*Previous experience managing full scale Quarry, Maintenance, Plant, or Civils teams and works
*Looking to join a rapidly growing company
*Excellent understanding of the Quarries Regulation 1999 and ACOP
*Completed an NVQ Level 4 / QCF Level 5 in Health, Safety and Environmental Management in Extractives, or equivalent
*Have an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plant Operations and competency qualification for operating quarry plant
* Commutable from Narbeth, Carmarthen, Saundersfoot, Haverfordwest, Tenby, Pembroke or the surrounding areas
