£55,000 - £65,000 (DOE) + Company Car / Car Allowance (£6K) + 26 days holiday (+BH) + Death in Service Pension + Wellbeing Benefits

In this role, the Quantity Surveyor will take on full commercial responsibility for multi-utility infrastructure projects from inception to close. You will be responsible for managing all project costs, from preparing budgets and controlling expenses to administering contracts and negotiating with subcontractors to ensure financial success.

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with experience working in the utilities or construction sectors, ideally with a background in residential multi-utilities. You should have good knowledge of NEC contracts or other contract forms, strong experience with commercial reporting tools and Excel, and hold a full UK driving license.

The Role:

  • Lead on all commercial elements of projects from cradle to grave
  • Manage budget control, payment applications, and valuations
  • Administer contracts, assess variations, and ensure compliance with all commercial procedures
  • Support on tendering, procurement and subcontractor management
  • Carry out monthly cost reporting and forecasting


The Person:

  • Experienced Quantity Surveyor
  • Proven background within Utilities or Construction, ideally residential multi-utilities
  • HNC / Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Good knowledge of standard forms of contract, such as NEC
  • Strong experience with commercial reporting tools and Excel
  • Full UK Driving License
