Quantity Surveyor
Nottingham / Derby (Office & Site Based - Hybrid)
£45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Potential Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Christmas Shutdown + Pension
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a client-side or transferable contracting background, looking for a long-term role within a stable consultancy delivering a consistent pipeline of work?
Excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established client-side consultancy providing Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration, and Architectural services. The business offers long-term security, repeat business with longstanding clients, and a varied workload across healthcare and food industry sectors.
This role offers genuine autonomy, responsibility, and exposure to the full PQS lifecycle of projects. Suited to a commercially astute QS who enjoys a hands-on, client-facing role and contributing beyond traditional surveying duties.
This is a great opportunity to work in a small, close-knit consultancy team, taking ownership of projects from inception to completion while benefiting from a stable workload and hybrid working.
The Role:
* Client-side Quantity Surveying duties from pre-contract through to final account
* Preparation of tender and pre-contract documentation
* Preparing and agreeing valuations, variations, and cost reports
* Contract administration and cost control
* Attending site visits and liaising with clients and consultants
The Person:
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or equivalent experience
* Experience from a PQS, client-side backgrond
* Confident managing projects independently from pre-contract through to final account
* Strong client-facing and communication skills
