Quantity Surveyor
Chelmsford
£55,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Salary Sacrifice Scheme + Training + Progression
This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established construction company that work within a variety of sectors within construction. With this opportunity you will hold a vital role within the commercial team along side a generous salary and progression opportunities to senior.

This established construction company specialise in Civil Engineering and Groundworks and new build developments. Working across multiple sectors, including Residential, Educational and Public Sector their consistent high-quality service has allowed them to operate for over 60 years. Due to an increase in workload and interest from Tier 1 clients they're looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their dynamic and growing workforce.
Within this role you will be responsible for tendering and pricing new jobs on a day-to-day basis. As well as that you also be managing and checking budgets of current jobs to ensure they are staying with the pre-set budgets. Also, you will be attending on site and client meetings to ensuring all parties are up to date with project progress. Finally, amongst other responsibilities you will be signing off any invoices ensuring they are all correct.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a Quantity Surveyor with experience in Civils and Groundworks and is motivated, looking to hit the ground running. You will need a full UK driver's license, for site travel in and around East Anglia.

- Working on Civil and Groundworks projects
- Working within the Residential, Educational and Public Sectors
- Based in their office in Chelmsford
- Travelling to their different sites around the region
- Working on projects from concept through to final accounts
The Person:
- Quantity surveyor
- Previous experience on Civils and Groundworks
- Good Communicator, team player and motivated
- Commutable distance to their office in Chelmsford
- Has full UK drivers license
