Excellent opportunity to join a well-established international manufacturer in a technically challenging role. You will ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and the Pressure Equipment Directive, along with bespoke standards for the manufacture of pressure vessels. You'll also identify openings to implement new systems and lead root cause analysis initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

On offer is a highly-varied role, where you'll work closely with management to ensure that manufacturing, welding, and mechanical engineering processes meet stringent quality standards. You'll conduct internal / supplier audits and apply structured quality tools (root cause analysis, FMEA, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and 8Ds) to resolve issues and improve processes, whilst leading Kaizen-driven continuous improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on lean manufacturing.

This role is ideal for a Quality Engineer with hands-on inspection experience and a background in Manufacturing, Welding, or Engineering.



The Role

  • Conduct internal & supplier audits and quality inspections to with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and the Pressure Equipment Directive, along with bespoke standards for the manufacture of pressure vessels
  • Applying structured quality tools, including root cause analysis, FMEA, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and 8Ds
  • Leading Kaizen-driven continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on lean manufacturing

The Person

  • Degree or Apprenticeship qualified in Quality Engineering
  • Background in Manufacturing, Welding or Mechanical Engineering
  • Wanting long-term stability, clear progression paths, and prospects within management
