A leading UK energy and engineering services business is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale energy and infrastructure schemes across commercial and public sector estates. The organisation plays a key role in helping clients reduce energy consumption, cut carbon emissions, and improve asset resilience as part of the UK's Net Zero transition.
This position offers full lifecycle responsibility, close client engagement, and the opportunity to work alongside specialist engineering, commercial, and construction teams on technically challenging projects.
The Role:
- Take overall responsibility for the delivery of energy and building services projects from development to completion
- Act as the primary client interface, managing progress, risks, and delivery performance
- Control project budgets, programmes, and supplier performance
- Coordinate design, construction, and commissioning activities with internal teams and partners
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with commercial objectives
The Person:
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Background delivering M&E, energy, or infrastructure projects in complex environments
- Strong understanding of building services systems and construction processes
- Commercially aware with experience managing cost, risk, and delivery programmes
- Confident communicator with a structured, proactive approach to project delivery
