Do you have experience in a product support engineer or technical support engineering role?

In this role the Product Support Engineer provides support across this companies entire product and services portfolio, you will be a main contact for addressing technical enquires from customers, distributors and suppliers from across the globe.
Working together with the wider Support Team to provide front-line support, this varied role involves assisting users, troubleshooting issues, preparing technical documentation and suggesting overall product and process improvements to help improve efficiency and end-user satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical & mechanical engineering and have had some experience in a support role.

*Working with a range of stakeholders to understand technical issues and deliver effective solutions
*Supporting the resolution of technical enquiries, supplier and assembly queries and general quality issues
*Prioritising work activities to ensure that customer and business timelines are met,
*Managing performance by monitoring KPIs and taking appropriate action
*Managing customer returns requiring product evaluation and repair
*Ensuring our range of technical documentation is compliant and reflects current requirements
*Liaising with the Design Team to support the assembly and testing of new products
*Supporting technical training of staff
*Working in accordance with defined Health and Safety procedures
*Working in adherence to the established ISO 9001 Quality Management System
*Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications
*Mechanical and electronics diagnostic capability
*Knowledge of computer-aided design packages
*Mechanical diagnostics capability.
*Have some experience in a product support engineer or technical support engineering role.
