$120,000 - $140,000 + Full Benefits + Professional Development + Bonus + Long-Term Progression

Are you a licensed Professional Engineer with strong experience designing complex process and mechanical systems?
Do you want to play a key role in developing innovative hydrogen and electrolyzer technologies?

I am currently representing a growing clean energy technology company developing advanced electrolyzer systems for hydrogen production. They are looking to appoint an experienced Process Engineer to support new product development and system design within their Mississauga facility.

This dynamic, expanding business specialise in energy efficiency solutions for a range of blue-chip clients within a variety of industries across the energy and renewables industry. They are truly pioneers within this industry and with a growing number of clients and exciting growth plans for the next few years, they are now looking for a Process Engineer who will join their expert team.

In this technically challenging role, you will be developing block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams. You will also perform system calculations including heat and mass balances, work to industry standards ASME, CSA and API and you will develop specifications.

This role would ideally suit a Process Engineer who is a Professional Engineer in Ontario, who is looking to join an energy company, where you will work in a technically interesting and challenging role.

The Role:

  • Develop BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs and perform heat & mass balance calculations
  • Size and optimize pumps, heat exchangers, control valves & relief devices
  • Work to ASME, CSA, API, NFPA and related codes
  • Participate in PHA/HAZOP and cross-functional design reviews
  • Support manufacturing, testing, commissioning & troubleshooting
  • Manage individual engineering projects

The Candidate:

  • 10+ years' experience with process & mechanical systems
  • Strong knowledge of pumps, exchangers, compressors, valves & piping systems
  • Experience with ASME BPVC, B31, CSA B51/B52, API 520/521
  • Ontario P.Eng. licence (required)
  • Experience with hydrogen, electrolysis or high-pressure gas systems desirable
  • Strong communication skills in English
