£36,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + Training + Job Security
Bedford (Commutable from: Milton Keynes, Luton, Northampton, Cambridge)
Are you a Plant Fitter or mechanically skilled engineer looking for a secure, hands-on role with a well-established company?
On offer is a varied workshop position with overtime, ongoing training, and long-term stability within a supportive team.
This growing plant hire company has built a strong UK presence and reputation for reliability. They are now looking to add an experienced Plant Fitter to their close-knit workshop team.
You'll service, repair, and maintain a range of utility and plant equipment, prepare machines for demos, carry out inspections, and occasionally attend site. You'll also support junior engineers when needed.
This role would suit a Plant Fitter or mechanical engineer looking for a stable, workshop-based role with overtime and long-term security.
The Role:
- Service, maintain, and repair plant equipment
- Prepare machinery for demonstrations
- Occasional site work and operation
The Person:
- Experienced Plant Fitter or mechanical engineer
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical & pneumatic systems
- Welding experience desirable
- Full UK driving licence
