Site based role commutable from Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Worcester, Bromsgrove, Dudley, Halesowen, Redditch, Bewdley
£31,000-£35,000 (£15-£17) + OTE £44,000 + Monday to Thursday (8:00am-4:30pm) + Early Finish Friday (3:30pm) + In House Training + Progression to Supervisor + Long Term Permanent Role + Plenty of Overtime
Are you an experienced Panel Builder or Electrical Technician looking for a hands on role where you can build control panels from scratch, work from electrical drawings, and progress into a senior or supervisory position?
This is a great opportunity to join a well established engineering manufacturer that designs and builds bespoke electrical control systems in house. The company is known for investing in training, promoting internally, and supporting engineers who want to step up into leadership roles.
You will be working in a workshop environment building electrical control panels from drawings, wiring components, and assembling panels ready for installation. This role offers long term stability, structured progression, and the chance to take ownership of full panel builds from start to finish.
This position would suit a Panel Builder with experience reading electrical schematics, wiring control panels, and working with industrial electrical components.
The Role:
* Building electrical control panels from scratch using electrical drawings and schematics
* Wiring panels including power, control wiring, PLCs, timers, relays, and terminal blocks
* Numbering and terminating cables, testing panels, and supporting system build activities
The Person:
* Experience as a Panel Builder, Electrical Fitter, or Electrical Technician
* Confident reading electrical drawings and wiring control panels from diagrams
* Looking for progression into senior or supervisory roles within an electrical team
