This company specialise in domestic construction including home extensions and loft and basement conversions across London and in the West Midlands. They are one of the largest domestic firms in London and are looking to continue expansion across the UK. With a great reputation in the industry they have a great pipeline of work and are looking to take on an Operations Manager for the London location to oversee these projects and ensure efficient running of the teams.

In this role you will be remotely based and visiting sites across London within the M25. You will visit the office for a monthly meeting but be in regular contact with senior management and the customer service team. You will be responsible for overseeing all London based projects and project teams including subcontractors and the client base. You will be on site frequently and assess all Health and Safety and Risk to ensure the site complies with regulations. You will be responsible for the recruitment of suitable contractors by thorough vetting and ensure they are placed effectively on necessary projects. You will work closely with the customer service team and assist on any queries that require immediate attention from client or contractor side. You will also oversee and manage all necessary paperwork and communication client and contractor side to ensure efficient communication across the business via a CRM system.

You will need to have a construction background and have great technical knowledge of H&S and RAMS, and be able to easily identify and rectify issues on site. This role would suit a candidate from the tools who has progressed into senior managerial roles. You will need appropriate Health and Safety qualifications and ideally have managed site teams previously. You will need to be ambitious, dynamic, resilient and IT literate.
