Software Engineer
Hybrid - Lathom
£30,000 to £50,000 + Bonus + Travel Bonus up to 80% + Car Allowance + Pension + Holiday
Excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a multinational, leading manufacturing company to help achieve business goals.
This company are a world leading manufacturing business, who are solidified as one of the best in class.
In this varied role you will be using C and C++ or C#, to help develop and upgrade their existing systems. Process control experience or knowledge is necessary. There is a big emphasis on knowing or being willing to learn SCADA, control panel design & programming PLC's. Being up for on-site commissioning is a must meaning you will have the opportunity to travel all around the world, from America to Malaysia nowhere is out of reach. Whilst doing so have the capability to earn up to 80% of your normal rate and traveling first class while doing so!
The ideal candidate will have solid C and C++ or C# experience and be willing to occasionally travel out of the country with the team to other sites. The candidate will have process control experience and be willing to learn SCADA, programming PLC's & control panel design.

The Role:
*Building PC's or supporting them
*Attend Coordination, planning and progress meetings
*Supporting plants around the world (occasionally)
*Meeting with mechanical engineers or third parties
The Person:
*C & C++ or C# experience
*Willingness to learn on the job
*Process control experience
*SCADA, control panel design & programming PLC's experience would be nice, but not necessary
