An exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer with optical and mechanical experience to join a world-leading business where you will play a key role on innovating projects for global clients.

Are you a Test Engineer with optical and mechanical experience? Would you be open to an initial 3-6 month contract with the potential to move into a permanent role?

This innovative company specialise in the design and manufacture of high-precision systems used across a range of industrial markets. Due to ongoing success and expansion, they are now looking for a Mechanical Test Engineer to join their expert team.

Alongside the senior engineer, you will be tasked with planning, developing and executing test programmes to ensure products meet performance specifications. This will involve generating test plans, setting up and configuring test rigs, and delivering tests to produce data for the wider engineering team.

This role would therefore suit an Mechanical Test Engineer looking for a new challenge and the chance to progress their career at a world leading business.

The Role:

  • Plan, deliver and execute test programmes
  • Generating test plans
  • Setting up and configuring test rigs
  • Delivering tests and data for wider engineering team
  • Initial 3-6 month contract with view to move permanent

The Person:

  • Strong background testing optical & mechanical products
  • Experience within a highly regulated industry (Automotive, Defence, Medical, Aerospace)
  • Ideally degree educated
