Mechanical Design Engineer

£35,000 - £45,000 + Training + Flexibility + 37.5 Hour Week + Overtime + 25 Days Holiday

Aldershot (Commutable from: Guildford, Farnham, Farnborough, Woking, Camberley, Fleet)

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a manufacturing background looking to work for an industry leader where you will take the lead on groundbreaking projects?

Excellent opportunity for someone experienced in SolidWorks to develop your skills further within a niche industry, working on bespoke and specialist drawings.

This market leading company specialise in the design and manufacturer manufacture state-of the-art instruments for a wide range of clients globally. Over the years have built up a reputation for their high-quality products and are now looking for an individual to join their department.

In this highly varied role, you will be responsible for designing new and existing products, overseeing machine build and installations. Training will be provided to get you up to speed.

The ideal candidate will have Mechanical Design Experience, worked within a manufacturing environment and be proficient using SolidWorks.

The Role:

  • Working alongside Head of Design to develop machinery.
  • Take the lead on machine build / installations.
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 Hour week

The Person:

  • Mechanical Design Engineer
  • Proficient in SolidWorks
  • HND Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving license.
