In this role, you will design complex, custom mechanical solutions. You will act as the technical expert for sales teams and provide critical oversight on the production floor to help get designs built. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, this role offers a clear fast-track to Lead or Supervisor positions. You will benefit from expert mentorship while enjoying a flexible schedule and a remote-day option.
This role would suit an ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer seeking high-level technical autonomy and a clear fast-track to management.
The Role:
- Lead all mechanical design aspects for custom projects, acting as the primary technical expert for sales and production teams.
- Perform complex CAD design and modeling, specializing in sheet metal and enclosures for industrial products.
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm with flexible start/end times to support work-life balance.
The Person:
- Proven design experience within industrial manufacturing, sheet metal, or enclosure design.
- Strong technical background in CAD and knowledge of GD&T.
- Mechanical Engineering degree or similar qualification.
