Pipefitter (Marine)

Are you an experienced Pipe Fitter from a marine background, looking for an immediately available contract role in a high-spec marine environment?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading marine company on a 6-week refit project, working on stainless steel small-bore tube systems. You'll be supporting the installation and assembly of firefighting and compressed air systems, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety throughout the refit.
The company is well-regarded in the marine sector for precision engineering and high-quality vessel refits. You'll be joining a skilled team, gaining exposure to complex pipework systems and practical marine fabrication techniques.
This role is ideal for engineers who are practical, detail-oriented, and confident working with small-bore stainless steel tubing and fabrication tasks.
The Role:
* Bend, install, and assemble stainless steel tubing (12-22mm) for firefighting and compressed air systems
* Assemble pipework joints using compression unions
* Fabricate and fit brackets where required, with some welding experience advantageous
* Assist with quality checks and system alignment
The Person:
* Hands-on experience with small-bore tube bending and mechanical pipework
* Familiarity with firefighting or compressed air systems is desirable
* Some welding or fabrication experience preferred
