Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with a machinist background looking to take on a versatile role, in which you will stretch your legs as an engineer and develop your skills through on-the-job training and mentorship?
On offer is a fantastic opportunity for a varied role, in which you will wear multiple hats and receive industry specific training and guidance from leaders within the field.
This well-established company are experiencing a heavy growth period, and as a result are looking to bring on a Manufacturing Engineer to liaise between senior management and shop floor. Due to their growth and full logbooks of orders, the opportunity for career development and diversifying responsibilities within the role will increase in the future.
On offer is a wide-ranging position, in which you will be responsible for cross department collaboration, upskilling shop floor staff and assist in the quoting process for new projects.
This role would suit a manufacturing engineer eager to learn from experts in the field, develop a versatile skill set, and thrive in a challenging and ever-changing environment.
The role:
- Explaining customer requirements to machinists, and quality lab technicians.
- Delivering training on GD&T and measurement techniques.
- Collaborating with customer service manager to support the quoting process.
The candidate:
- Experience with GD&T and Machining preferred.
- Experience with CAD/CAM preferred, SolidWorks ideal but not essential.
- Eager to take on a varied role with training and mentorship from industry leaders.
