Are you a Maintenance Technician looking to join a rapidly growing manufacturing operation, offering a hands-on role where you will work across modern production machinery, support continuous improvement projects, and develop technically through extensive training on specialist equipment?
On offer is an exciting and varied position where you will be involved in electrical and mechanical maintenance, inventory coordination, troubleshooting production equipment, and supporting new machinery installations across a busy print and packaging environment.
This expanding organisation is investing heavily in growth, new equipment, and long-term succession planning. Due to increased production demands and the creation of new positions within the maintenance department, they are now looking to bring on an additional Maintenance Technician to strengthen their team.
In this role, you will work closely with the Production Services Manager and collaborate with machine operators, electricians, and the wider operations team. You will be responsible for first-line maintenance support, ordering and organising spare parts, assisting with improvement projects, and ensuring production machinery runs efficiently. You will gain full training on all print, press, die-cutting, and gluing equipment.
This role is ideal for a Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical background who enjoys a combination of hands-on repair work, problem-solving, and organisation. Candidates from any manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply.
The Role:
- Electrical & mechanical maintenance across production machinery (50/50 split)
- Troubleshooting and first-line response across presses, die-cutters, and gluers
- Managing spare parts inventory and supporting improvement/installation projects
- Days-based role with occasional on-call + $70,000-$90,000 + overtime/bonuses
The Person:
- Strong electrical skills; mechanical ability beneficial
- Experience in any manufacturing or industrial environment
- Organised, good communicator, able to work under pressure
- Technically motivated with interest in learning specialist print machinery
