Maintenance Engineer
(Mornings / Afternoons / Nights)
£40,000 + Shift + Training + Benefits
Location: Newbridge on Wye (LD2)
Are you a hands-on maintenance Engineer looking for a secure, long-term role within a major UK manufacturing business?
This is an excellent opportunity to join the 5th largest Timber company in the world. Due to continued investment, they are looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to their established engineering team.
This company is a market leader in their field and is going from strength to strength. Due to expansion with the teams, they are looking to take on someone who wants to grow and develop a career in a fast-paced global company and offer training and vast prospects to the right candidate.
The role operates on a 3-week rotating shift pattern (Mornings / Afternoons / Nights), averaging 39 hours per week.
Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement across a large industrial site, including sawmilling, treatment, and biomass operations.

The Role
- maintenance, repair, and replacement of site equipment.
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Working 3 shift pattern

- Mechanical or Electrical Any Industry)
- Strong hands-on maintenance and fault-finding experience
- Technically minded with high standards of work
