Lead Shift Engineer
Location: Dagenham
4 on 4 off
£49,500+ Shift + No Call Out + Overtime + Specialist Industrial Training + Company Pension + Medical Scheme + Holidays

An opportunity had become available for a qualified engineering supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join an established manufacturer that has sites across the world covering everything from food manufacturing to renewable energy. Within the UK they have a massive presence, particularly in the natural products and renewable fuel markets, and large-scale industrial sites spread across England.
The core responsibilities of this role will be managing and overseeing a team of people that maintain production machinery across the site. To achieve this the right candidate will have previous experience with hands-on electrical and mechanical Maintenance Engineering and hold engineering qualifications and time served in a leadership role.

The role:
- 4 On 4 Off split between days and nights
- Experience working within a team lead role.
- Supporting site operations where required
- Carrying out risk assessments for works and ensuring H&S guidelines are adhered to.
- £48,000-£50,000 + Shift + No Call Out + Overtime + Specialist Industrial Training + Company Pension + Medical Scheme + Holidays
The person
- Recognised Electrical qualifications/apprenticeship or time served.
- Experience working within a team lead role.
- Experience in a production/process environment e.g FMCG, Chemicals, Water (advantageous)
- Capable of following H&S policies and procedures
- Dual Skilled Mechanical/Electrical
- Must be used to working at height.
- Confident with valve replacements and basic pneumatics.
