Junior / Trainee Estimator
Full Training to Become an Estimator
Location: Bracknell
Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours/week)
£25,000 + Full Training + Career Progression
Are you looking to start a career in estimating within the engineering and facilities sector?
This company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at entry level who is eager to learn, develop technical skills, and build a long-term career in estimation.
On offer is full training and support to develop you into a fully competent Estimator within a well-established engineering and facilities company.
You will support the estimating team with pricing, measurements, and cost calculations, working from technical drawings and schematics to help produce accurate tenders and quotations.
Your role will involve assisting with material take-offs, learning cost analysis, liaising with internal teams, and supporting the delivery of competitive and accurate estimates.
The Role
- Assist with area and quantity take-offs from drawings and schematics
* Support material and labour cost calculations
* Learn how to prepare estimates and quotations
* Work closely with engineers, project managers, and suppliers
* Receive full training and development into an Estimator role
The Person
- NVQ Level qualification (any relevant discipline)
* Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and develop within an estimating role
* Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office)
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
