Junior/Assistant Project Engineer
Luton
Up to £35,000 per annum + Early finish on Fridays + Overtime + 33 days Holiday + Training + Progression
An Excellent opportunity for an Engineer with experience in project managment within manufacturing looking to join a well-established and industry leading company.
This company have been established for over 200 years and due to continued growth are looking for a Junior Project Engineer to join the team. In this role you will directly contribute to operational excellence through supporting the successful delivery of all projects on time and in full, on budget and in line with customer expectations.
This role would suit an Engineer with experience in project management within the manufacturing sector, looking to job a well-established company where you can progress your skills further/
The Role:
- Support bid compilation, monitor project performance against contract plan and budget, taking appropriate action to ensure company deliver on time and achieves expected margins.
- Identify and assess risks, lead post contract 'lessons learnt', implement continuous improvement using LEAN
- 37 hours a week, Monday to Thursday, can choose either 7:00am to 15:00 or 8:00am to 16:15pm to suit, 2:30pm finish on Friday
The Person:
- Engineering/Project Management qualified or equivalent job experience
- Working within a manufacturing site
- Strong risk management and business judgement and decision making skills
