Junior Estimator
Terrington St Clement, Office-Based with Site Travel
£30,000-£40,000 + Van + Full Training + Career Development + Supportive Team + Benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Estimator to join a growing and well-established construction and maintenance business, offering full training and the chance to develop into a fully-fledged Estimator.

This company delivers a wide range of projects, including reactive maintenance, refurbishments, insurance works, and external schemes. Known for its supportive and collaborative culture, they are now looking for a Junior Estimator to join the team and learn from experienced professionals.
You will support the estimating and commercial team in all aspects of the tendering process, gaining hands-on experience across pricing, take-offs, subcontractor engagement, and project cost management.
The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn, organised, and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in construction and estimating. Any prior exposure to construction, pricing, or surveying would be beneficial but is not essential.

The Role:
- Support pricing activities, including take-offs, SORs, and tender/quotation preparation
- Assist with subcontractor and material enquiries while maintaining accurate records and systems
- Work alongside senior staff on cost management, valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Attend site visits, surveys, and meetings to gain hands-on project experience and development
The Person:
- Keen interest in construction, estimating, or building surveying, with a strong willingness to learn
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage workload and priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive attitude
- Previous construction experience is beneficial but not essential
