Infrastructure Engineer
Bishops Stortford
£40,000 - £45,000 + Hybrid + Life Assurance
An amazing opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to develop in an established and growing company in an exciting role, in this role, you will be accountable for documenting and maintaining networks across multiple environments. Your responsibilities will also include researching and implementing the latest technologies to ensure that colleagues perform their daily tasks at the highest standard.

They are a multi-million pound turned over business and have achieved natural growth in recent years. The company actively encourages hybrid working and this will be available.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience providing 2nd Line support / 3rd Line and had worked as a 3rd line engineer/ infrastructure engineer in an MSP environment. Have experience working in a customer facing role and be flexible with a wide range of technical task. Working with technologies like Office 365, Azure and Active Directory is crucial. Also, have a good networking knowledge with VLANs, WAN routing and DNS.

The person:
- 2-3 years providing 3rd Line support / Infrastructure Engineer role in an MSP environment
- Experience providing good customer service to clients
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, Azure, Endpoint Manager, MDM, Networking (VLANS, WANS routing, DNS), Firewalls, Webhosting and Telephony
- Must have experience working in an MSP or similar environment
- Qualifications; AZ-104 - Microsoft Azure Administrator, AZ-305 - Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
The role:
- Managing own ticket escalations to ensure 3rd Line support tickets are handled and solved efficiently. For example, supporting diverse networks of 50 users or more
- Working in a team when necessary to ensure unresolved problems are solved.
- Solving multi-tenant Azure/on-prem hybrid environments
- Travel to customer sites when required to provide technical support to client's customers IT issues and providing great customer service.
