Health and Safety Officer

£35,000 - £42,000 + Training + Progression + Days-based

Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (Commutable from: Crewe, Leek, Cheadle, Sandbach, Stone, Uttoxeter, Congleton)

Are you a Health and Safety Officer / Manager from an Engineering or Manufacturing background looking to step up and take the technical lead and autonomy in managing HSE projects and policies?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an globally-renowned manufacturer where you will play a pivotal role in the procedures, implementing your own stamp within the business.

This company have continued expanding across the globe and supply high quality products to a variety of sectors. They have recently opened a new purpose built facility and invested heavily.

This will be a Monday and Friday days based role operating out of both the workshop and office. You will be responsible for implementing Health and Safety policies with full autonomy. You will gain support from long-standing quality and engineering teams.

This position would suit a Health and Safety Officer / Supervisor or Manager looking to take on an autonomous role within a successful and growing business where you will be supported through external development and training.

The Role:

  • Implementing new processes and procedures.
  • Health and Safety policy.
  • Monday - Friday days (60% Office / 40% Workshop).
  • No direct reports (Autonomy provided).

The Person:

  • Health and safety experience.
  • Advisor / Officer / Supervisor / Manager.
  • NEBOSH qualified or working towards (preferred).
