This innovative and forward-thinking training provider is at the forefront of Fire & Security education in the UK. With a mission to upskill and professionalise the sector, they deliver high-quality, hands-on training that blends face-to-face teaching, online delivery, and bespoke commercial solutions across the full Fire & Security spectrum-including Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms.

In this role, the main focus will be on quality improvement of education delivery. You will cover internal quality assurance, auditing, teaching standards, and be the main point of contact for Ofsted.

The ideal candidate will have worked for an independent training provider with over 500 learners, in a quality-based role. Candidates must have experience leading a team of 20+ trainers/instructors across multiple sites, with a fast-paced, growth-oriented mindset. A proven track record in enhancing the learner experience-not just compliance-is essential.

The Role:

*Maintain quality across all educational delivery in line with professional standards, best practices, and regulatory frameworks for government-funded provision.
*Oversee and maintain direct claims status, Matrix accreditation, and successful Ofsted inspection outcomes.
*Line manage a team of IQAs to ensure consistent and effective internal quality assurance processes across all programmes.
*Use a strong understanding of EIF requirements-particularly for apprenticeships-to drive quality and compliance.
*Possess in-depth experience with the quality assurance processes of regulated qualifications and awarding bodies.
*Foster high standards and continuous improvement, putting the learner experience at the centre of all activity.
*Lead quality system design and improvement initiatives while actively supporting professional development and team performance.
*Work cross-functionally to embed consistent, high-quality practices that enhance learner outcomes and overall organisational effectiveness.
*Lead and manage quality across multi-site operations, ensuring scalable and consistent approaches across the organisation.

The Person:
*Recent experience working for an independent training provider with 500+ learners
*Previously held a quality-based role with strategic responsibility
*Experience leading a team of 20 or more trainers/instructors
*Experience managing multi-site delivery operations
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling business with a growth-oriented mindset
*Proven track record in driving learner experience and outcomes, not just compliance
