Graduate Electrical Service Engineer

Stockport, Manchester, with travel both nationally and internationally

Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 + Use of Company Vehicle + Training + 25 days leave

Are you a Graduate Electrical or Power Engineer, looking for an opportunity to work with a growing manufacturing company supplying into the power engineering sector?

The role will train on both specific products and generally on the sector.

This is also an exciting opportunity to travel both nationally and internationally. Travel will be circa 1 week/month in the UK and 1 week/2 months internationally, mainly Europe/Asia.

Our client designs, manufactures and offers support in power engineering monitoring systems.

This role would either suit a skilled Engineering graduate looking to make a career in a technically challenging environment, be trained, and gain international exposure.


The role:

  1. Full time, permanent position within the manufacturing sector with travel both nationally and internationally
  2. Working in a small growing team and be trained
  3. Assist in installation, testing and commissioning work on client sites
  4. Some basic maintenance tasks.



The person:

  1. Degree level qualification in an electrical or power engineering subject
  2. Any academic/working experience in testing or maintenance, or any exposure to substations preferred
  3. Excellent written and spoken English, plus a UK Driving Licence are essential
  4. Must be willing to travel extensively as part of a role and stay away from home. This will be fully expensed.
