Machine Learning Research Engineer - Quant Forecasting
$150,000 - $300,000 + 0.1-1% Equity + Flexible PTO

This is a rare opportunity to join a well backed startup with a which is about to raise Series A and is already highly profitable.
You'll be one of the first engineers shaping a high-performance team that's building forecasting engines with real-world leverage-powering applications from algorithmic trading to scientific modeling, with direct deployment through proprietary capital strategies and scalable APIs.
You'll be joining a tightly knit group of three ultra-committed founders. The culture is intense, focused, and deeply ambitious-expect to work hard, including weekends, in pursuit of breakthroughs that matter. You'll collaborate directly with decision-makers to define research goals and push models into production across markets and science.
This is a role for someone with a quant research, strong educational credentials, and a desire for end-to-end ownership whilst working on complex forecasting architectures while contributing to both research and systems engineering.

The Role
- Build and train large-scale forecasting models
- Deploy systems into real-time trading and forecasting infrastructure
- Contribute to deployment systems (API, capital strategy engines)
- Collaborate directly with founders on high-level product and research decisions
- Apply models in domains like algorithmic trading and scientific forecasting
The Person
- Has experience at a top-tier quant trading firm (e.g., Jane Street, Two Sigma, Renaissance, Millennium, etc.)
- Exceptional background in Mathematics, Physics etc
- Proficient in Python or Rust
- Willing to commit fully to a fast-moving startup
