This is a well-established civil contractor delivering essential site development and underground utility infrastructure for schools, highways, and public works projects. Their focus is on safety, quality, and long-term relationships, not cutting corners. With a strong backlog of secured work, they offer year-round employment and consistent hours.
In this role, you will lead crews installing water, sewer, and storm systems, taking responsibility for layout, production, safety, and quality on site. You will coordinate daily with the Superintendent and Project Manager, ensure crews have what they need to succeed, and identify issues early to keep work moving efficiently and safely.
This role would suit an experienced Underground Utilities Foreman who values ownership, steady work, and building infrastructure that will serve communities for generations.
The Role:
- Lead field crews on underground utility and site infrastructure projects
- Oversee daily production, quality, and safety on site
- Coordinate daily work with Superintendents, Project Managers, trucking, vendors, and subcontractors
- Coordinate day-to-day activities with site leadership and supporting teams
The Person:
- Background in underground utilities or heavy civil site work
- Comfortable leading crews and taking responsibility for daily site activities
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, grades, and installation standards
