Field Service Technician (Instrumentation)
$50,000 - $70,000 + Training + Fully Expensed Travel + Medical, Dental, Vision + Benefits

Are you a Field Service Technician from an instrumentation or electronics background, looking for a customer-facing role with exposure to a variety of products, combining remote support with on-site work?
This is a varied role where you'll receive full product training and become a key part of an established service team.
This well-established business operates within the scientific instrumentation industry, serving a broad range of clients across the US. You'll travel to customer sites roughly 40% of the time, visiting multiple facilities nationwide, while being based out of Pittsburgh, PA - all travel fully expensed.
The role is ideal for someone from an instrumentation or similar background who's ready to broaden their skillset and build a long-term career in field service.
The Role:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot customer instrumentation issues, both remotely and on-site
- Install, calibrate, and repair instrumentation and equipment at customer facilities
- Provide remote technical support with approximately 40% nationwide travel
- All travel fully expensed
- Full product training provided from day one
The Person:
- Previous field service experience in a technical or customer-facing role
- Background in machinery, electronics, or instrumentation maintenance
- Scientific instrumentation knowledge is preferred but not essential
- Comfortable with regular travel throughout the US
