Diesel Mechanic
Texarkana, Texas (Commutable from: Red Lick, Creekwood, Mandeville, Nash, Redwater)
$30ph - $35ph + Training + Progression + Optional Overtime + Local Patch + Minimal Overnight Stays + Excellent Company Benefits
Are you a Mechanic that has worked on industrial diesel engines, looking to cover a local patch at a stable company, offering training from master technicians and progression all the way to Vice President level?

My client has been around for more than 100 years. They genuinely value their employees and have a long-standing workforce. Their current Vice President of Operations started off as a Mechanic, and is one of many success stories within the business.
In this role you will be conducting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs on diesel compressors and diesel generators at customer sites and in a shop environment. You will be travelling 50% of the time in a local patch, with less than 10% overnight stays. You will also be provided with a company credit card and a fuel card, alongside a pick-up truck you can take home.
This role would suit a Mechanic that has worked on industrial diesel engines, looking to enjoy a great work life balance through a days based role and rare overnight stays, alongside receiving specialist training and progressing all the way to Vice President level.
The Role:
* Conduct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs on diesel compressors and diesel generators at customer sites and in a shop environment
