Are you a qualified electrician looking to specialise in EV installations?
Do you want hands-on experience with training provided on cutting-edge EV charging technology?
We are looking for a motivated Junior to Mid-Level Electrician to join our EV installation team in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing EV company, gaining valuable experience in the electric vehicle charging sector, with full support and training provided.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of EV chargers at residential and commercial properties. You will receive two weeks of induction and on-the-job training, and have the chance to progress your career as our business grows.
You'll be a qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or in progress) with at least a couple of years' post-apprenticeship experience. Knowledge of EV chargers is a bonus but not essential, as training will be provided. A full UK driving licence is required, and ideally, you should live within a reasonable distance of Slough to minimise travel and ensure smooth site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and test EV charging units at customer sites
- Complete site surveys and report on electrical work
- Follow company procedures and safety regulations
- Communicate with customers professionally and provide high-quality service
- Contribute to a growing team with opportunities for career progression
Person Specification:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or in progress)
- Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong practical skills and attention to detail
- Motivated, reliable, and willing to learn
