This is a key leadership position where you'll have the autonomy to drive real change across estate management, compliance, and capital projects. Working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking operations team, you'll be trusted to deliver a safe, sustainable, and future-proofed learning environment that enables teaching and learning to thrive.
In this role you will take the lead on the strategic and day-to-day management of the school estate. From overseeing maintenance, projects and compliance to leading the Estates team and managing service contracts, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, efficient, and future-focused environment for students, staff, and the wider community.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in estates or facilities management, alongside a proactive and strategic mindset. You'll be comfortable managing people, budgets and projects, with a sound understanding of health and safety legislation, compliance requirements, and sustainability planning. Experience in the education sector is beneficial but not essential.

The Role:
*Lead the Estates Team, including Site and Community staff, to ensure safe, compliant day-to-day operations.
*Oversee all aspects of premises management, including health & safety, maintenance, and sustainability.
*Develop and implement the long-term Estates Strategy and Asset Management Plan.
*Manage capital projects, contracts, and procurement processes.
*Coordinate statutory compliance, risk management, and audit follow-ups.
*Maintain and monitor systems, budgets, and documentation related to estate and facilities.
The Person:
*Proven experience in estates, site, or facilities management.
*Health and Safety Qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
*Strong knowledge of health & safety, statutory compliance, and project delivery.
*Leadership experience managing teams and service providers.
*Based within a commutable distance of Hook
