EMC Test Engineer
$100,000 - $120,000 + Travel Bonus + Full Travel Reimbursement + 4 Weeks PTO + 401(k) + Full Benefits

On offer is a senior technical position where you will lead bespoke EMC/EMI qualification projects, mentor junior engineers, and act as a subject matter expert across lab and field-based assignments. You will work on cutting-edge testing programs, directly contributing to the safety and reliability of mission-critical nuclear systems.
This role would suit an EMC Engineer looking for technical progression, greater responsibility, and recognition as a specialist within a niche, high-demand sector.
The Role:
- Lead and execute EMC/EMI test plans using advanced lab equipment
- Mentor junior engineers and support progression toward Associate, Senior, Principal levels
- Conduct on-site EMC surveys, troubleshooting, and system qualification at customer and nuclear facilities (approx. 7 trips per year)
- Receive structured training including certification support, nuclear compliance training, and specialist internal systems development
The Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline
- Experience in EMC Test Engineering (lab or field-based)
- Working knowledge of EMC standards and associated test equipment
