£38.00 - £45.00 per hour
This is an excellent opportunity for a Talented Embedded Software Engineer to join a well-known, multinational company in a very hands-on, technical position.
This company have been established for over 100 years and are widely regarded as the best in their industry. They are currently going through a period of rapid growth and are looking to add talented candidates to their Electronics team.
In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of embedded systems for automotive power systems. You will develop software functionality implemented in models using MATLAB/Simulink, verify and validate engine control features and troubleshoot and resolve electronics / control system issues.
The ideal candidate will have some commercial experience in a similar role and excellent knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow. You will be experienced developing real-time control systems including software version control (Git). Any experience with Data Links (CAN/Ethernet) and calibration/diagnostic tools (CANape, CANalyser etc.) is desirable.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join an international company on an exciting 12 month contract.
The Role:
*Development and implementation of embedded systems for automotive power systems
*Develop software functionality implemented in models using MATLAB/Simulink
*Verify and validate engine control features
*12 Month contract, Inside IR35, sites based in Peterborough
The Person:
*Proven experience in a similar role
*Excellent knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow
