Electronics Development Engineer
Axminster, Devon (Hybrid)
£45,000 - £50,000 + Profit-based Bonuses + Pension + Life Insurance + Holidays


Are you an Electronics Engineer with experience developing electrical products and is looking to join a great business in a very rewarding industry?

This business specialise in the manufacturing and sales of electro-optical instruments for clinical and nonclinical research globally. They have grown steadily since their founding 40 years ago and are still thriving through this period of economic uncertainty. In order to keep up with demand and continue future growth, they are looking to bring in an additional Electronics Development Engineer.

In this role, you will lead a product development from concept to production handover. You will work on analogue and digital circuit design, microprocessors, and Digital Signal Processing, whilst providing strong problem-solving skills and EMC compliance knowledge. You'll work with schematic capture, PCB layout, embedded software, and hands-on testing.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electronics Engineer with experience in electrical product design, PCB's, analogue an digital circuit design, microprocessors, DSP and EMC compliance knowledge. You will also need to be able to commute to Axminster.

The Role:

  • Lead product development from concept to production handover

The Person:

  • Experienced Electronics Engineer with expertise in electrical product design
  • Proficient in PCB design, analogue and digital circuit design
  • Skilled in microprocessors and Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
  • Knowledgeable in EMC compliance
  • Ability to commute to Axminster
