Electrical Engineer (Water / Industrial Pumps)
Location: Thames Water Region Commutable from London, Farnborough, Slough, Guildford, and surrounding areas
Contract: 6 Months - 24 months (Outside IR35 / CIS Available - Highly Likely Extension)
Rates: Competitive Day Rates + Van + Expenses + Excellent Opportunity for Extension
Are you an experienced Industrial Electrician or Electrical Engineer from an industrial or utilities background looking for a long-term contract role across the Thames Water region?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering company supporting multiple water infrastructure upgrade projects across pumping stations and treatment works. You'll work on a variety of electrical installation, refurbishment, and maintenance activities across several active sites.
The Role:
- Electrical installation, refurbishment, and maintenance on water and wastewater pumping systems
- Work across multiple Thames region sites, key depot is based in Farnborough
- Inspect, fault-find, and repair electrical systems, control panels, and industrial equipment
- Travel to sites daily, ensuring high safety and quality standards
- Outside IR35 or CIS contract - long-term extension opportunities
The Person:
- Time-served or qualified Industrial Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / C&G 2365 / AM2)
- JIB Gold Card is essential
- Background in industrial, utilities, or water sector electrical work
- Experience with 3-phase systems, control panels, motors, or pump systems is highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Thames Water region
