On offer is a pivotal role within a growing engineering team where you will be responsible for the full design lifecycle of bespoke power distribution solutions. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility where design, manufacturing, and testing are all co-located, allowing you to collaborate closely with production and sales teams. To ensure you remain at the forefront of the industry, you will benefit from weekly specialist training meetings on LV/MV technology and direct mentorship from a highly experienced senior leadership team.
This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in switchgear or switchboards looking for significant responsibility, specialist training, and a fast-track to management.
The Role:
- Lead the design of Low Voltage switchgear, creating detailed elevation drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Collaborate across departments to oversee projects from initial sales specification through to manufacturing and functional testing.
- Benefit from structured weekly training sessions and mentorship designed to prepare you for Senior and Management roles.
- Drive innovation by implementing new ideas and best practices within a rapidly growing engineering department.
The Person:
- 3+ years of experience in Electrical Design, specifically within power distribution (Switchgear/Switchboards).
- Strong technical understanding of circuitry, breakers, and controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
