Northern & Central Regions - Field Based

£65,000 - £70,000 + Vehicle Allowance + Overtime + Healthcare + Generous Holidays + Life Assurance

Are you an experienced electrical professional with authorisation experience, looking for a mobile role supporting complex construction and energy projects?

A leading UK energy and engineering services organisation is seeking a Mobile Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP) to support the safe delivery of electrical works across multiple sites in the North and Central regions. The role sits within a well-established energy services business delivering technically demanding projects across healthcare, commercial, and critical environments as part of the UK's Net Zero transition.

The ideal candidate will have 18th Edition, Test and Inspection, SMSTS/SSSTS, either current or previous LVAP course and experience working on projects related to lighting retrofits, BMS, electronic and gas distribution systems.

Working closely with project and construction teams, you will play a key role in maintaining electrical safety standards, overseeing contractor activity, and supporting commissioning and handover on complex live sites.


The Role:

  • Provide electrical safety oversight across multiple live construction and refurbishment sites
  • Review and monitor contractor documentation and on-site working practices
  • Carry out inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and safe systems of work
  • Support construction planning, commissioning activities, and final handover
  • Act as an electrical governance and compliance point of contact for project teams

The Person:

  • Qualified electrician with 18th Edition and recognised test & inspection certification
  • Accredited Low Voltage Authorised Person with experience on complex or occupied sites
  • Background working on large-scale electrical or M&E projects (£1m+ preferred)
  • Strong understanding of electrical standards, commissioning, and quality control
  • Mobile, organised, and confident engaging with site teams and stakeholders
