This Internationally successful company are known for their second-to-none product line within their industry and due to exciting growth plans and projects that are already in motion; are now looking for a Product Development / Design Engineer to play a pivotal role in the continued success of this organization.
In this role, you will be given full autonomy and control of the Design and Product Development aspect of the company, working closely with the Director of Engineering, developing and maintaining innovative products and ideas. You will also have the opportunity to assist with the Prototypes, Testing and Production of your work - truly allowing you to see your ideas go from concept to completion.
This opportunity would suit an Design Engineer from a Heating or Propane background - looking for genuine progression opportunities, looking to really implement and utilize your Engineering background.
The role:
- Use Solidworks to create 2 & 3D models from concept right through to Manufacture
- Test current and future products to ensure quality and safety standards
- Liaise with internal teams (Materials, Proposals, Procurement, Project)
- Monday - Friday (days based role with flexible hours to suit your home-life)
The person:
- Design experience (within Gas, Fireplaces, Natural Gases, Heating, Ovens / Stoves etc)
- GD&T understanding
- Looking for longevity and genuine progression opportunities
