On offer is an exciting opportunity to join an international company who specialize within the timber door industry & offer high quality fire doors, fittings & services into a range of industries including commercial, residential, industrial, aviation and education sectors.

This fantastic company offers exceptional technical expertise and support services required to manage, test, promote, specify and sell the full range of doors & products to a loyal global customer base and have an excellent reputation in the industry. Due to continued expansion they are now looking for a Design Coordinator to join their passionate & successful team.

In this role you will be part of the sales team and will handle technical queries from customers & suppliers & will support a range of exciting projects. You will be responsible for determining project requirements and designing compliant timber door systems ensuring the solutions offered are fully compliant with legislative requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Design background within the timber/joinery/doors industries looking for a varied & interesting role with an exceptional company who offer training, development & long term progression.

The role:

  • Technical support for a range of projects
  • Offering solutions from enquiry / concept & adaptions/ development of products
  • Dealing with clients, suppliers & internal teams to offer solutions to queries, products & services

The person:

  • A design background in the Joinery / timber / door industries
  • Proficient designing in AUTOCAD
  • Confident and articulate with excellent customer service skills and the ability to offer technical support to clients, suppliers & internal teams
  • Looking for training, development & progression
