$60,000 - $65,000 + 401(k) + Medical + Technical progression + Training
Dallas, TX (Fully onsite 7am-4pm Mon-Fri)

Are you experienced in commercial cybersecurity and seeking to advance your career in a close-knit, family-like environment?

This is an incredible opportunity to work alongside the Director of IT and gradually become the go-to cybersecurity expert with practical support and guidance from the acting Director of IT.

The company specializes in power conversion, designing and manufacturing high-performance products for the marine and aviation sectors, including military and defense applications.

In this role, you will work closely with the IT Director on developing and maintaining cybersecurity protocols while acting as an IT Support Specialist. You will develop your cybersecurity skills from the IT Director but are expected to have good experience on the subject and can figure out problems on your own.

This role would suit someone looking to build a career in cybersecurity and work closely with a small team.

The Role:
- Assist the IT Director with company IT and cybersecurity initiatives
- Configure and repair hardware/software; set up peripherals (printers, switches, phones, scanners)
- Provide daily IT and cybersecurity support for network users and Maintain IT asset inventory and document support and compliance activities
- Manage user accounts, MFA, permissions, and security settings in AD and Office 365
- Diagnose and resolve technical and security issues on workstations, servers, and networks

The Person:
- Strong Windows OS knowledge, including security configuration and hardening
- Familiar with Active Directory, Office 365, and access/authentication security
- Skilled in problem-solving, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability mitigation
- Experienced in troubleshooting hardware, software, and security issues (e.g., malware, patching)
- Understanding of networking, VPNs, firewalls, cloud security, and intrusion prevention
- Strong communication and customer service skills; able to train users on security best practices
- Able to manage multiple security tasks - monitoring, compliance, and risk management
