Controls Technician

$80,000 - $110,000 + 4 weeks PTO + 6 Holidays + 401(k) + Training + Health + Dental + Vision + Weekends off!
Are you a Controls Technician looking to receive extensive training with external courses to help you step up to become a controls engineer for a market leading material handling organization?
This organization offers a wide range of services to the material handling market, working with Fortune 500 organizations across the US. Due to continued success and growth, they are hiring a Controls Technician to join the engineering team.
On offer is a dynamic role with lots of training that will help to further develop your skills to help you become a qualified controls engineer. In this role you will program PLC's, HMI's and robotic systems across several platforms and help with installation at customer sites.
This role would suit a controls technician looking to step up to a controls engineer at a company that offers technically challenging projects and exciting training.
The Role:
* Responsible for programming PLC/ HMI's and robotic systems for a variety of customers
* Assist with installation at customer sites
* 25% travel across the US (fully expensed)
* Design control panels (training Provided)
The Candidate:
* Controls Technician or Engineer
* Proven experience with PLC's
* Looking for extensive training to become a qualified controls engineer
* Willing to travel to customer sites (25% travel)
