Controls Engineer
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Training + Progression + Company benefits.
Location: Peterborough (Commutable from: Whittlesey, Yaxley, March, Wisbech, Spalding, Market Deeping, Stamford, Corby, Chatteris).
Do you have Controls experience within a Maintenance or Production background looking for the opportunity to become a technical expert within an industry leading company offering excellent training and development opportunities?
On offer is this excellent Controls Engineering position where you will get the chance to work on ground breaking projects and receive extensive PLC programming training to help you become the go to engineer in the team.
This company are a globally recognised supplier for some of the world leading food manufacturers; they offer up a varied product range and are looking employ an additional Controls Engineer due to recent growth and demand in services.
This is a Monday - Friday highly varied position. You will be based from both their fully equipped and purpose built office and production facilities. You will be developing, maintaining and programming a range of modern PLC and Automation systems.
This role would suit an Engineer with Controls experience in Maintenance or Production environment looking to develop their PLC programming skills in a highly autonomous role.
The Role:
- Training and development (PLC Programming).
- Machinery testing and writing software.
- Occasional travel to different client sites UK wide and Abroad.
The Candidate:
- Controls Experience (Allen Bradley/Rockwell).
- Keen to develop into designing.
- Full UK Drivers license.
