Are you a controls engineer looking for expert 1-to-1 training with senior engineers working on a wide range of interesting and technically challenging equipment, for a company with an excellent structured career progression pathway?

This market-leading company is looking for an ambitious Controls Engineer to come in and look after all aspects of their controls for their automation machinery. They are working with the tier 1 automotive supplier which will give you a great opportunity to work on projects varying in size and complexity. Due to their successful business, they are now looking for a Controls Engineer to come in a play a pivotal role within the company.

In this role you will be designing, maintaining and repairing existing and new machinery to keep them at the forefront of the market. You will also be tasked with working collaboratively with the engineering and sales teams to produce quotes and innovate designs to ensure the evolution of the company. The Role:
- Designing, maintaining and repairing controls for automation machinery
- Programming PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens)
- Innovating designs
- Quoting new customers
- Implementing you controls projects
- 50% office 50% plants based (same location)

The Person:
- Knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs
- Thorough electrical engineering knowledge
- Experienced using AutoCAD or similar electrical print software
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
