Are you interested in supporting the Highland's push towards Net-Zero in a newly-created and highly specialised role working alongside a leading UK business?

This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a large number of sites across Scotland. Now that they've established themselves as the leading producer of renewable fuels in Scotland, they're starting to go through the next phase of their growth which has seen them open up additional offices in London to support their growth into England as well as into other territories such as Europe and the USA. They are also beginning to expand into other areas of Renewable Energy such as Solar PV and Wind.

In this role you will be working as part of an engineering team to support commissioning and validation of new process operations including existing operational sites. This will involve technical troubleshooting of different systems, generating plant documents, risk assessments and optimising plant parameters.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least HNC/HND level in an electrical or C&I discipline or will otherwise be time-served in their profession, and will have demonstrable experience in an industrial environment. It is highly advantageous if the candidate has experience in delivering process improvement projects.

The role:
* Working on industrial-scale biogas production plants in and around the Girvan area
* Carrying out inspections, fault finding and maintenance (planned and unplanned) on E&I systems
* Carrying out documentation for works undertaken e.g maintenance logs, reports etc.
* Ensuring works carried out are in compliance with HSE regulations and internal standards
* Taking part in project work and installations where required

The person:
* Qualified or time-served in electrical and instrumentation engineering
* Demonstrable experience in a plant operations environment
* Strong working knowledge of safe working practices and procedures
* Full UK driving license.
