Control Systems Engineer (Power Conversion / DSP)

The company specializes in power conversion, designing and manufacturing high-end power units used within the aviation industry, including military and defense.
In this role, you will design, debug, and support industrial power conversion products; analyze and model power electronic circuits; develop and optimize closed-loop control algorithms and C-based software; and perform hands-on laboratory testing to validate and improve control performance.
The Role:
- Design, develop, and implement control algorithms and software, and perform testing, verification, and troubleshooting on power conversion hardware.
- Develop and enhance validation plans to evaluate control software performance within power conversion equipment.
- Integrate control software with other software functions across the power conversion system.
The Person:
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school. (MS preferred)
- Experience designing control systems
- Experience with DSP and Power Conversion.
- Experience with C programming language
- US citizen or legal permanent resident
