Configuration Manager
Oberpfaffenhofen, Wessling, Bavaria
€80,000 - €100,000 + Annual Bonus + Holiday
This company is a long-established aviation OEM specialising in the design and build of modern lightweight aircraft using advanced composite materials. Founded over 100 years ago, they continue to push boundaries in prototyping and production and are now seeking a Configuration Manager to support their operations in Wessling.
In this role, you will maintain the configuration management strategy and database in the PLM System.
You will develop policies and procedures, ensuring all changes go through a defined management process of various Design Data. Furthermore, you will organise the Change Control Boards and communicate with supplies & partners to confirm project statuses within their Data Exchange tool.
The ideal candidate with have strong experience within the aerospace industry. You will also be an expert in Teamcentre and speak English professionally.

The Role:
- Maintain a configuration management strategy for the EASA Design Organisation Approval
- Implement CM relevant Data in the Configuration Management PLM System
- Ensure that all changes are managed through a defined change management process
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures
- Perform the Change Management of various Design Data
- Organise Change Control Boards
The Candidate:
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience with SAP ERP System and Siemens Teamcenter PLM Software
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and related frameworks
- Professional English proficiency
