Commercial Solar PV Salesperson
UK - Hybrid
£38,000 - £43,000 + Commission + Car Allowance + Solar PV Training (Design and Technical) + Enhanced Holiday + Progression + Pension
Are you experienced in selling to commercial businesses, ideally within a technical industry, looking to upskill and train into the futureproof solar PV industry or do you already have experience selling solar to companies?
Would you like the opportunity to earn commission and gain experience in a growing, progressive sector and with an established and capable company?
On offer is a chance to join a leading renewable energy company who are developing solar PV across the UK and who are in a period of sustained expansion including the acquisition of other complimentary organisations. They are looking to scale their commercial client base and expand their capacity within the solar team.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and developing a commercial solar PV sales pipeline and promoting / selling solar PV systems to a diverse range of businesses. This is an incredibly varied position including business development, site surveying, technical systems design, closing deals where one is pushing against an open door.
This is the ideal role for a talented salesperson, ideally from a technical industry, looking to work at the forefront of the UK's transition to renewable energy. You will also be looking for an influential role where you can progress your career and help scale a sales team and will be supported by a friendly C suite who have delivered hundreds of MWs of solar
The Person:
* Experience in sales, ideally in a technical industry.
* Experience selling to commercial clients / businesses.
* Proven success in hitting sales targets / closing deals.
* Highly skilled in communication, especially with key stakeholders / clients.
* Experience in using CRM systems, and very IT literate.
The Role:
* Selling solar PV systems to commercial clients.
* Conducting site surveys, and technical solar PV system design and taking prospective clients through the feasibility process.
* Understanding clients' needs and tailoring systems to suit.
* Management of the whole sales process, from customer take on to closing and project completion.
* Working from home, with client visits across the UK when needed.
