Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

Are you a Chemistry Lab Technician looking for an immediately available 12-month contract role with a globally recognized energy company working at the forefront of oil & gas research and development?

This is an excellent opportunity to work in an industry leading company offering a Monday to Friday, days-based role in a state-of-the-art laboratory.

This established and internationally recognized energy company operates across the oil & gas industry and is known for its extensive research and development capabilities.

As a Lab Technician , you will be joining a highly skilled R&D laboratory team where you will support the development and testing of chemical formulations used in fracturing fluid systems. The role is 100% laboratory-based, involving hands-on synthesis, reaction testing, and supporting scientists with experimental work and data analysis.

This role would suit a Chemistry Lab Technician with hands-on lab experience, who is looking for an immediately available contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Conduct chemical synthesis and polymer reaction testing to support fracturing fluid R&D
  • Perform laboratory experiments, testing, and data recording within a research environment
  • Work full-time onsite in a Katy-based laboratory supporting scientists and engineers

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
  • Hands-on experience in a laboratory or R&D environment
  • Looking for an immediately available, full-time contract role in Katy
